Aloha Oregon

Aloha Oregon

Aloha is considered an unincorporated community meaning that it is not a local municipality but is run by Washington County in Oregon. It is located a few miles west of Portland with a population of more or less than 54, 000 as of 2018.

The area was initially called Wheeler’s Crossing because it was a place where railroads converged. In 1912, the first post office was built in the area which was named Aloha by Julius Buck, the first postmaster. From there, the name of the city was changed to Aloha.

At the moment, Aloha Oregon has one community library, fire protection, and EMS unit, one strip mall, and two school districts: Beaverton and Hillsboro.
