I CANT say enough good things about this place and Sydney. She made my niece and I feel so comfortable and made my niece laugh and feel so good during a very uncomfortable situation. I’m so glad we got her and found this place. After 3 hours we were all clear and felt like ourselves again without the intense worry. You guys are just fantastic and I would highly recommend this place. 100 stars if I could.

We had a spectacular experience. Sydney was skilled and kind and efficient. She was great at explaining what she was doing and helped us make a plan for the future. We cannot recommend her or the service enough. It is 100% worth of money! There’s a great selection of small toys for kids to play with and even a whiteboard for them to draw on while they wait.

My daughter and I have long/thick hair, and I felt that home care products would not get rid of the lice and eggs. Hillary and Melanie were a great team! They were informative, really nice and fun to talk to. We really appreciated their time and services. The treatment is expensive but worth it!

They were really helpful in answering questions I had about coming in for a treatment for my daughter and myself and very thorough in getting us both a clean lice free head of hair. It took about an hour for each of us to do a check and then to complete a treatment. The whole process is oiling up our hair, combing through with the lice comb and a heated scalp treatment (kind of like a blow dryer but sits on the scalp longer) and then a final comb through the hair. It was a little expensive but worth the peace of mind that we were leaving there lice free

I needed to get checked when some students at my job were found to have head lice. I called Lice Charmers because they were close to where I live in Kent, and I am glad I did! They were able to see me same day. The appointment was relaxed, and I had a great conversation with the woman who owns the business (and did the head check). I would definitely recommend this business if you need to get checked or treated for lice!

They were wonderful and I’m so happy they were able to get my family in quickly!

Melanie was really thorough and sweet with my niece. They had a fun sand raking set to keep me entertained. Bringing her tablet helped keep her still. Connor was quick to respond and get me booked same day.

There was a potential outbreak from school and my daughter came home one evening I found little nits in her hair and after doing a round of treatment at home I went for just my piece of mind but luckily everything came out fine she made the whole experience easy and quick,. She was really thorough in checking my daughters and my head, even has a little setup of puzzles, drawing and other activities to keep the little ones occupied. Chemicals used to help was not harsh even made my hair super soft after washing the next day!

We had several consecutive lice warnings at daycare and so we decided to take our toddler here for an inspection. They were really accommodating, informative, and all around provided great service.

Long story short .....AMAZING service. My teenager keeps sharing her brush at school & got lice. She has really long hair & so I decided to Google lice removal and man are we happy we found Lex! We had a great experience going to Lice Charmers. Sydney was the best!!! I didn’t know about lice charmers when I first discovered lice and spent the first 48 hours trying to shampoo and comb myself and my two kids. A friend told me about lice charmers and I wish I had gone straight to them!!! They were very efficient, but also patient and understanding when dealing with my younger son. They answered all my questions about how I manage all the bedding, stuffies etc. And the best part, we left lice free!! We went two weeks ago so I can confirm we stayed lice free too! Well worth the money to feel peace of mind to move on with life and not be stuck worrying if we still had it.

No one wants to find lice on their kid’s head (let alone their own)…so if you want to know for sure, get that head checked!!! After learning that 2 other daycare kids had lice, we needed to know & Lex found some baby lice on our heads. We’re so glad we caught them before they became a bigger problem. Lex was so great with my 2 year old, who loved the scalp check and hated the heat treatment. The heat treatment felt great to me! I shared this resource with other daycare parents and got additional peace of mind that we could get ahead of this little outbreak.

Do not waste your time with at home treatment — it’s bound to come back. Lice Charmers can check for and treat lice, and is SUPERIOR to doing at home self treatment. Highly, highly recommended.Lice started making its way through my son’s daycare class. I wasn’t seeing any on his head when doing dry checks, and he wasn’t itching, but I called to see what kind of availability they had just in case. Conor answered and gave me a wealth of information over the phone so I felt confident doing a wet check with a nit comb at home that night. I thought I found a few nits but wasn’t totally sure so I called the next morning. I was able to book a same day appointment.Lex is great with kids — my 3.5 year old is usually nervous at appointments and he did amazingly. His check and treatment took about 40 minutes. Plus there were lots of different things for him to play with while I received my treatment too. (Side note — the treatment honestly felt amazing, and for a busy mom of 2, it was basically a spa day head massage)My husband and our infant daughter also came in that same evening. If everyone in the household is checked and cleared, the treatment is guaranteed for 30 days. Knowing we were leaving lice-free, and that my son can return to school the next day is incredible. They can also provide a return to school clearance letter if you request it.It’s a total game changer to have a professional take care of the lice. Plus they sell the oil they use and if you apply it for an hour once every 7-10 days it prevents any future infestation which is key since it’s likely going to keep going in waves through his class for a while.To not have to deal with treating and picking them all out is such a relief. We were recommended to Lice Charmers by friends who used them. Connor got the infested child scheduled same day. My child reported liking the people because they were fun and asked fun questions. My child warned me that there’s a machine that looks scary but feels really nice and warm on your head. I met Melanie the next day. She was kind, straight forward, relaxed, thorough and gentle as she did my head check. Fortunately, she found nothing but sadly that meant I missed out on the scary looking but nice feeling machine.

Went in today to get both daughters treated. Lex was great and very professional 😊 She explained everything very well for after treatment. Loved that they had a little area for kids, it kept my little one busy while the other one was getting treated. Definitely recommend them if anyone is struggling with lice problem.

I came in originally to have a removal and grab a take home treatment, totaling $250 after adding a tip. I was told to re-treat 9-10 days later at home which I did. I also treated my husband with the oil I purchased here. Two weeks later I found more lice in my hair and called to have my second free treatment only to be told that this was not an option. The second treatment is contingent upon having everyone in your household physically seen by them (an extra $40 per person) which was not explained to me. The website says "checked or treated" but does not clarify that they are to be "checked or treated" in the clinic. Taking their oil home and treating does not count for this condition. Since I purchased the oil, I was told that I could come back if I was reinfected and it would be "no problem" to get it taken care of. I even made sure to ask about the terms of that agreement and was not told I would be turned away for this reason. So now I am out $250, unable to work until I find a way to pay for another treatment from the grocery store, and feel let down by being told something false. When I called and pushed back about this I was told, "You were treated by the one of the owners. They know the conditions and explained". I bet they do know them, but I did not. Just very disappointing and I would recommend saving your money

My only complaint for this service is the cost. Not super affordable when you have a family of 3 needing it, although I can't say how they compare to other clinics. Aside from that, everything was great. We were scheduled to be seen within an hour of calling. Sydney was wonderful and so kind and patient with our two year old when she struggled with the process. All around a good service to give you peace of mind and quick removal if you can foot the bill.

I felt nervous upon arriving knowing myself and my kiddos might have lice, but after an extremely thorough examination and treatment and with their extensive knowledge; I left feeling confident that the lice were 100% gone and a issue of the past. They were able to ease my mind with the 100’s of questions I had, about aftercare as well as preventative care.Tell your family, your friends or if you’re considering- to come by here. I made the commute 45+ minutes and I’d gladly come again, if the unfortunate circumstance ever arises again.

We went to Lex after I found what I thought was lice on my child. I was so stressed because we had never experienced this before. Lex was able to get our whole family in right away. Lex was AMAZING. She was so knowledgeable, kind and calmed my nerves. Three people in our home ended up having lice and we left clean. Lex even has experience with treating people with handtied extensions. If you unfortunately have to experience these bugs, you must go see Lex!

LIFESAVER!!!! I had been through lice before with my older kids when they were younger as there was an outbreak at their daycare. Well back then, about 14 years ago there were no lice clinics to take your kids to. Doing the treatment myself was a nightmare and not 100% effective.Fast forward to today, when my nine-year-old had been exposed to lice from a friend. I called the clinic to make an appointment for us to all get checked. My daughter had lice and immediately got treated by Lex. Lex was knowledgeable, kind and efficient! It made what could have been a terrible experience actually pleasant. To be able to go home 100% lice free is amazing and worth every penny. This was my first time ever getting lice and I am an adult. It was really scary because I didn’t know anything about how to handle it. Once I suspected I had it, I called Lice Charmers the moment they opened and I got in right away with both of my roommates. Sydney really helped us understand how lice actually survive and work and it helped me realize my situation wasn’t really that bad at all. I felt confident that all lice was removed and dead from my head same day too! I really do recommend this place.

We came to LC because our regular provider was unavailable. Communication was quick, we were scheduled same-day, and we were even able to come in early when a spot opened up. Melanie was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. She reminded me that we could use our FSA to pay for the treatment. The fee is worth every penny for the peace of mind, knowing that every head is "clean".

Lex was the best!!! I went into my inspection with high anxiety, afraid to even enter the place- she was calming and made me feel instantly comfortable. Through the whole inspection process she chatted with me, made distracting conversation and reassured me every step of the way. Found out I had lice on Wednesday while at work at a school and was freaking out! A coworker recommended Lice Charmers and it was easy to make an appointment that day a few hours from when I discovered them. The ladies that “deloused” me were wonderfully kind, calming/reassuring, professional/knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. It was surprisingly relaxing having my hair carefully combed and having gentle heat applied to my head. I joked that it was like going to a “spa.” I learned so much about lice that I was uneducated about and leaving my appointment I felt amazing and knew what to do at home to kill any remaining nits that could be hanging out. All in all it was a wonderful experience and 2.5 hours later my hair down to my lower back was clear of lice! I highly recommend Lice Charmers and the wonderful ladies that operate it!

Melanie and Lex were extremely thorough. They got every single one of my daughters lice and nits out. I've had major problems at lice clinic of America (I had to go back there 3 times to get nits out that they missed, and then wanted me to pay more money), so I gave these guys a try. I hope we don't have to be back, but if we need lice removal services again, we are going to lice charmers.

I found myself crawling with lice and a few eggs thanks to my job as substitute teacher. Even though I combed my hair until I saw nothing and did an at-home treatment, I wanted the comfort of knowing I was lice/nit free, so I googled places to do just that and Lice Charmers was the only place to answer the phone (even though all the other companies said they were open when I called) and got me in the next day. The office was clean, quiet and ready for all situations. Melanie walked me through each step and let me know what they found. The scraping didn't feel great, but that was to be expected and they went at my hair every which way, which takes awhile since it is thick and curly, but I didn't want to leave any doubts. Melanie didn't try to upsell me on their products, let me know of cheaper options, gave me an after treatment to do list, helped debunk some lice myths and ways to keep my family lice free (after all this, 3 days after finding the bugs, only my husband had one on his head with a few eggs and my kids were clean) and we have been since doing daily checks with a lice comb and every other day conditioner treatments just to be on the safe side. I highly recommend Lice Charmers and Melanie for all ages! Thank you for my peace of mind!

You know that feeling you get when someone is really kind to you when you really need it? So kind you just wanna cry? That was my experience with Lice Charmers. The whole experience of having head lice was extremely traumatic for me, and I was so relieved when I was able to get a same-day appointment. Melissa was so understanding, so nice and gentle but also thorough and professional. She took so much of my anxiety away. It’s been four days and I haven’t seen a single bug or nit since. Melissa doesn’t deserve five stars. She deserves a million stars. And a raise. And the entire world. I want to be like Melissa when I grow up.

I would recommend Lice Charmers to anyone dealing with lice who want an efficient and sure way to be lice free. It took about an hour and a half for a check and treatment on my long super fine hair, but it felt even quicker. They were very personable and found 3-4 bugs that I had missed at home treatment eek.

3 children with love for over 4 years. Gone for good in less than 3 hours. We did our part at home (which is key for this treatment to stay working) and Lice Charmers did theirs. No more bugs, no more itchy scalps. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I also recommend to bring snacks. Toys are not necessary for there are things to play and a white board to draw on.

One nit found and great reassurance we were not going to have to come back. I also appreciated their parent education info - without it we would have been much more panicked. My only request is to have been told when she saw our kid’s hair that it would take longer and cost more - not tell me that as I’m deciding how to pay. It’s not easy to tell someone the price is going to go up, but it’s important.

No one wants to deal with lice, but as with many child-related inevitable situations, it can happen to anyone. We discovered our kids needed treated on a Saturday night before a Monday morning school picture day. Melanie was brilliant and kind and managed to swing a visit for us the following day. Melanie talked through all the things needed to tackle the home environment and stay on top of any potential new infections. She was patient, friendly, and efficient, and we would absolutely recommend her and Lice Charmers to anyone needing to address these pesky pests. She will calm your anxieties and offer you clear guidance moving forward, and although we will gladly come again if needed, we sure hope we don't have to!

The woman who treated us whose name is Lexi was so incredibly sweet and gentle. She put an oil through our hair to help catch the lice and did an amazing job with the combing! She didn’t tug or anything, she was very gentle. When I got home I rinsed my hair off because it was super oily from the treatment and my hair was the softest it’s ever been, I highly recommend this place. Getting lice is never a pleasant experience but Lex makes it as awesome as it can be! Friendly, efficient service

I called Lex in a complete panic at 7 pm on Friday night. My daughter had been complaining about having sand in her hair and it itching I thought nothing of it since we had spend the last couple weeks at the beach. Friday night I decided to wash her hair myself, that’s when I discovered lice! My daughter who is 13 was completely freaking out, screaming and crying. Lex was so sweet on the phone assuring me she’ll get it taken care of the next day and gave me some suggestions to help us get through the night. After hanging up I felt much better and equipped to help my daughter. The next day our appointment wasn’t until almost three but Lex was able to get her in at 12. She got all the lice out of my daughters hair and checked the rest of the family. Luckily only my daughter had it. I am so happy we found this place! She was honestly a real life saver. She’s very knowledgeable about lice and really makes the whole situation easier. Hopefully we don’t have to deal with this ever again but if we do I know who to call!

Called late this morning to get my daughter in for a head check as she had a lice exposure a few days ago that I was just made aware of! The staff answered immediately and were good at calming all my anxiety around this process. We arrived and jumped right in. Lex was amazing with my toddler aged daughter and was patient while she got used to what was happening. Lex was so calm and kind to us and did a very amazing job. Just got home from an amazing long weekend road trip in the PNW, a vacation where Lex was our hero! Do not call these people to help you they are a rip off, I thought I had lice and I did not and I still got charge for a full treatment almost $200 for 15 minutes of somebody telling me I don’t have lice and I was charged the full amount anyway! The technician that came over was very nice I got to admit that but I should not have been charged. I would’ve gladly paid a inspection fee and time for travel but the full amount……. really

Lex was AMAZING! I work in a residential facility for youth and we had a client come in with a very bad case of lice that our OTC lice treatment failed to work. I researched places to contact and Lice Charmers was one of the first to pop up. She was at our facility within 2 hours of contacting her. Ongoing checks for more bugs continued daily. 8 days of and nits were found on all 3 kids. Probably me too since I have little faith in my husbands lice/nit finding skills.All of us were treated. Days of checking and sure enough more nits on one child. I was at my whits end.I called a company that our pediatrician recommended that has a local office. We were given a 8:30PM appointment time. Early evening Lice charmers contacted us and kept us up to speed on time development, always offering to reschedule for the next day. It’s been almost a week since we had our treatments. So far we don’t see any evidence of lice!!
