This place is so amazing. I was stressed when my daughter had lice and they were so calm and answered all my questions. We called on a Saturday afternoon and she squeezed us in that same day around 5. My daughter went home lice free and with oil to take home. Would defiantly recommend.

Has a great experience here! Called on a weekday about 3:30 hoping to get checks for my family of 5 (including school age and toddler children) and we were able to all be fit in that afternoon/evening. It was our first experience with lice and it was helpful and informative- I feel more confident in the future now knowing what I’m looking for! Would definitely return here for swift, informative service.

Lice Charmers saved our family when we realized one of our kids had lice!!! It is not a fun experience to go through and can be very stressful. Lex was so wonderful and caring! She was responsive and helped answer all our questions and gave us peace of mind!! She helped our friends and family too when they were concerned they had been exposed. The products they sell work and we have continued to use them when other over the counter treatments clearly don’t and smell very toxic. It’s a wonderful place, and we feel lucky to know they can help if this happens again. Thank you Lice Charmers!!

Fluid experience from start to finish. Lots of tips and good experience while getting treatment. My 14 year old actually had an enjoyable experience and thought the person was “really sweet.” . Highly recommend Lice Charmers!

We were visiting friends while out of town, literally across the country when we found lice in my hair. I panicked of course and my sweet husband calmly googled and found Lice Charmers. We called and Conor was so sweet and empathetic and was able to get me in that very day. We met Lex at the office and she was so unbelievably nice. She calmed our (my) anxiety, we had great conversation and the appointment took about an hour, which was much quicker than we expected considering I have long and thick hair. This was pain free, relaxing and honestly not as big of a deal and I thought it was going to be.This service was well worth the money we spent. Thank you!

Oak-Grove-Oregon

Oak Grove, Oregon

Oak Grove, Oregon is classified by the United States Census Bureau as a census-designated place (CDP), which means that it is fairly populated, but it has not been incorporated as a town. The 2010 census reported a population of 16,629. Oak Grove is located in Clackamas County. Oregon’s Clackamas County considers Oak Grove as an unincorporated city within its territory and the boundaries of the metropolitan area of Portland. As far as statistics go, the Census Bureau of the U.S.A considers Oak Grove as a census-designated place (CDP) despite its unincorporated status. In the 2010 national census, it was revealed that Oak Grove had 16,629 inhabitants that have doubtlessly grown 9 years later in 2019. The name “Oak Grove” was suggested by a member of the 1890s survey party that ultimately platted the site—a certain Mr. Edward W. Cornell, to be precise.

Edward W. Cornell and his group first surveyed the area in the 1890s. The company in charge of plotting was having difficulty naming the area, but Cornell suggested “Oak Grove” after noting how his crew would eat lunch in a group of oak trees each day. Cornell’s party or company developed Oak Grove but couldn’t come up with the correct name for the site. The reason why Edward chose “Oak Grove” one day as the party ate lunch was because they were doing so while surrounded by oak trees on the tract’s northwestern portion. The Milwaukie Post Office served the area around the early days. A Creighton Post Office became Oak Grove’s post office in 1904, which was named after land claim donator Susan Creighton. As for the things you can do while at Oak Grove, Oregon, there are plenty to choose from.

You can go to the MB Roland Distillery, for example, in order to go enjoy the farms and food tours at Pembroke and the surrounding area near it. There’s also the Billy Dunlop Park, which is a great place for fishing, hiking, and park-related recreational activities galore. Meanwhile, the Excape Games Clarksville is a fun way to spend an afternoon since it has a clean environment, informative staff, and many wholesome games to choose from.

As for the Wilson Theater, it’s a performance area and cinema in one place at 95 Bastogne Avenue. There’s also the Andreas Celestial Vision Botanica & Candle Shop, which offers spiritual advice and items for those who believe in the occult and mediums. Finally, the Don F Pratt Museum in Fort Campbell is a way for you to go back in time and learn about Fort Campbell’s history. It’s fun for the whole family here at Oak Grove!

Common Questions

Is Oak Grove one of the largest unincorporated communities in Oregon?

Yes, it is. With a population of just under 17,000, it would be a decent-sized city, if incorporated. If the community ever did vote to become a city, their population would swell to almost 40,000 because several other unincorporated areas would become part of the newly incorporated area.

Does the Oak Grove area have any crime?

Very rarely. Occasionally there will be some theft from mailboxes or from “porch pirates,” but very few people have had anything broken into. Other than a few teenage pranksters, this is an area with a low crime rate. All in all, it is not a bad place to live.
